that you are considering using us to host your wedding celebrations. I would like to offer our
congratulations to you and your partner on your forthcoming marriage.
The Black Horse in Baston is situated in a quaint village, in a rural part of South Lincolnshire,
giving it a stunning backdrop for your wedding needs. Our premises has recently had an
extensive refurbishment to cater for all occasions. Our beautiful garden is the ideal setting
for your wedding photography to capture all those special moments of your day.
We have included some information on the hotel facilities and other services we can offer
any potential bride and groom. We have also included our wedding packages from bronze
through to platinum. Our wedding coordinator Kerry will happily discuss these packages
with you and tailor them to complement your individual requirements.

Planning your wedding.
Organising one of the most important days of your life can be a daunting task. With so
many aspects that need to be explored, agreed upon and coordinated. such as seating
plans, menus, Flowers and entertainment, you can easily feel overwhelmed. Sister we will
offer advice and reassurance when needed, guiding you through every stage of organising
your special day and give you Peace of Mind that you will have a day to remember.
The Black Horse is not only a romantic setting for your wedding reception catering for those
couples that are deciding to opt for the less traditional wedding service but are looking for a
venue that can offer enchantment in inspiration. You need look no further.
Our Cardyke suite is an elegant, private function room with its own bar and enough space
for a band or DJ. Weather permitting our lovely garden provides an ideal location for arrival
drinks and the perfect backdrop for your wedding photography.
Wedding packages have been put together to guide you and help you make the process as
stress free as possible. Wedding coordinator will happily discuss these packages with you
and tailor them to your individual requirements. We have a number of optional addons and
little extras that will make your wedding day individual to you and compliment your chosen
style.
Planning ahead and first steps
1. Establish a firm date for your wedding.
2. Contact the Black Horse and provisionally book the date.
3. Arrange a meeting with our dedicated wedding coordinator by contacting us on

4. Contact the local registrar in Lincoln 01522 782244
Provisional bookings can be made with the registrar up to twelve months in advance,
although confirmation must be made three months prior to your wedding day. They will
provide you with comprehensive information based on your own requirements. This will
provide you with all the detail and prices that you will need. Two registrars will attend your
wedding and the hotel will provide you with a room on the day to complete the last-minute
formalities with the registrars and, if required, this can be conducted individually.
